I dont always understand cop mentality - I know the adrenalin's flowing and they're pissed because he rammed an office's car - but when they were stopped in a traffic jam on the freeway, they had to know the minute they approached the truck this maniac was going to do what he did - why didnt the cops just have a little patience? In a way they pushed the trucker to cause more damage. If they had just waited a little longer, he may have calmed down enough to realize he had no where to run.
