nice to have god on your side! |

only the israeli pilot can do something like that |

Or the modern fly by wire system that guided it. |

RIGHT YOU ARE, BUT THE AMERICAN PILOTS ALSO PRETTE TERRIFIC. |
reply »
Only an American is good enough to train an Israeli to do it. |
reply »
What are you drunk? That is the most naive comment I have heard. American's are no better than any other, have a think before you post such rubbish. |

INCREDIBLE!!!! |

QUOTE: israel got a strong army? Strong is relative. Their pilots are given their planes almost as soon as they can drive a car. And their training can be compared in philosophy as US Marines sleeping with their rifles. |

There is no doubt about it. |

Ok... |

What's so great? He wasted a 50 million $ airplane in a training exersize with poor tactical judgement. He's just lucky no one got hurt. |

hello everyone. |

What's with all the F100 footage? I think its representing the A4 he collided with. Isn't there enough A4 footage available? |

What's the title of the full movie? |

" It is like in life or in politic. Watch the movie again buddy. the right wing was the one that was chopped off... the left wing is the one that saved the day |
reply »
If his right wing was cut off, he should be rolling towards the right. According to his gesture, he is rolling to the left. -alex- |

Impact was from down to up to his right wing. It broke of his wing, and sent him to counter clock spin. |

i saw the F-15 on the ground. |

Whats all this crap about "god on his side" and "Israel got the best pilots". With enough money and training and the right equipment I am sure even yasser Arafat could have done it in his younger days!!!! Dont make this as some "divine" intervention because Israel has some "god given right" to do whatever it likes!!! |

No one here was trying to admire one with no reason. He was unknown to the damage, and he had a very cool temper, that's what made him very alive now. |

You are illiterate. |

Looks like you read too much into it! The mechanics alone is enough to say "wow" what a machine...the fact that God is on our side should be a knowledge known already. |

Thank you for stating the logical explanation... and in my humble opinion, the correct explanation. |

Great Flying, just like flying a rocket. |

The full story is, that US army gave two F-15 to Israel after this accident, cause this help them sell their plants. |
reply »
Sorry to disapoint you, but I've been in the IAF and I know for a fact that the US army didn't give us two F-15. The US army was so jenerous when they gave us a F-15 wing. You may think it is crazy but just that wing coasts so much that it was a really nice gift. |
reply »
ARMY DON'T OWN PLANES TOO STUPID TO DO SO. Israel had to buy two new aircraft but now because of the accident |

Israel is a miracle. This video just proves it. History has shown what her people are capable of, to survive against absolutely overwhelming odds against the 'darkest force' the world has ever seen. I also am very glad they are not our enemys and hopefully will stay our allies, no matter what administration we have elected. Blogengeezer USA. |

WOW!!! |

I do believe that God is on their side, What a Miracle indeed!!!!! |

bunch of idiots. all that you have is a photo. other stuff is for zionist USUKs |

amazing. but its a fact that Israel got one of the best air-force's in the world if not the best (relatively of course). |

Anonymous wrote: "bunch of idiots. all that you have is a photo. other stuff is for zionist USUKs" 1. I served with the Air force when this thing happened and I remember it vividly. As for zionist USUK- what's the point? What does it show? As propaganda goes this is not very effective. remember, the first component of conviction is a motive, what's the motive of releasing a movie about an F15 withstanding a training accident? 2. The IAF IS better, not just better equipped. 2 years ago, in a joint training with the USS Nimitz, the tally was Israel 105 US Navy 2. Of course this is too embarrassing to get published. |

You can say what you like, its a fact israeli pilots are #1. at the age of 18 they start training and a few years later they fly an F16. Every war in the israeli area is dealt with using 90% AirForce and the arab countries around have no way to stop them, so saying if they had enough time means nothing if they cant even shoot down an aircraft. |

Consider how much wing area has been lost, perhaps 60% on the one side (remember the engine nacille also provides lifting area). That leaves 70 % of the total area still there. But in addition one can get more lift from the tail surfaces, so the problem is flying straight and not remaining in the air. The tail surfaces provide for this. It is not the pilot who is so brilliant but the airplane designer who was sucessful. By providing a lot of rolling power he enabled the pilot to hold the starboard wing up. Our pilots are no better than any other well trained ones but when we use airframes that have been designed for contingencies including this, together with good maintanence, then the result is indeed praiseworthy. Signed: by somebody who knows. |
