Extreme use of force! - totally uncalled for - the weapons employed to protect life are quickly being abused and may in some cases be worse. The victim here has a strong case against his local police department. I hope he got a good attorney. |

I agree it was totally uncalled for. More and more we see cases where the police use excessive force. They seem to forget that they are there to serve and protect not dominant. I hope this officer was removed from the police force. We do not need individuals like him on the police force at all. |

Key point here.. listen to your wife.. she tried to tell him - still totally wrong.. this cop is making it bad for the rest of us out here trying to protect and serve.. we catch hell out there sometimes and he was just having a bad day and took it out on this nice guy. I would never use that much force but this officer was scared, frustrated tired and mad for having to work on Thanksgiving. |

that is still no reason for that pig of a cop to have tased him.. it's the people that back that cop up in situations like this where cops get a bad rep. and of course his actions, but just like you said, that is still not a reason.. wether his wife told him to give it to him, or what not, there was still no cause for him to have treated this poor man that way... |

no excuse "this officer was scared, frustrated tired and mad for having to work on Thanksgiving". are you serious? that is his job. i am a nurse and had to work on thanksgiving too and was not abusing people. cops always find excuses for their unprofessional and abussive behavior. he needs to be fired. i am sure the victim already hired a lawyer and this case will be settled in court and I will be the one paying with my tax money for his stupidity. just wrong. |

OK here we go again. . . Lets not hold the driver responsible for his actions. He had plenty of time to get his information out. I heard the driver say "NO" when the wife said just give it to him. The cop says get out and is still asking for the info. . . . and the dumba$$ driver starting resisting. Agree or disagree with the reason for being stopped, the Officer is in control. Arguing and resisting are the first signs of a violent person. To many Officers have hesitated in taking control and ended up DEAD. The other video I saw on here was a white man, this one was a black man. They both gave the Officer a hard time and got the same results. Let's hear it for equal oppertunity tasing ! ! ! Nope, I'm not a cop . . . but I do believe in what they are doing for the public. |

i'll keep going with this one... first off, he WAS NOT given enough time to take out his drivers license, second, there was no reason for the officer or should i say pig in this case, to have used that type of force. i think this idiot is a racist. because i can guarantee you this, had it been a white man behind a mercedes, he would not have gotten the same treatment. You use a TASER when somebody is RESISTING arrest, physically combative, fighting or when the officer's or another persons well-being are in Jeopardy; NOT when someone can't reach into their DAMN pocket and dashboard fast enough for the officer who has him on a 15 sec countdown and is yelling at him. Another loser who got picked on in High School with a badge. |
